CMS students win five medals in Martial Arts competition

Lucknow, 5 September : Two students of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus II, Nabeeja Sheikh and Sara Sheikh brought laurels to the institution by winning five medals including three Gold, one Silver and one Bronze in inter-school Martial Arts competition. This competition was organized by Dragon Academy of Martial Arts. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi wished both the students success in all future endeavours while congratulating them on their achievement. This information was given by Shri Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS. Shri Sharma informed that Nabeeja Sheikh won Gold in Junior Tuei-shou competition in 70 kg category, Junior Chi-Kung (Rapid Kick) competition in 71 kg category and Junior Chi-Kung (Stance) competition while Sara Sheikh won Silver and Bronze medals respectively in sub-junior Tuei-shou in 40 kg category and sub-junior Chi-Kung (Rapid Kick) in 32 kg category, displaying their prowess in Martial Arts. In the midst of a tough competition, these talented girl students bagged an impressive haul of five medals on the basis of their sporting talent, agility, skill and stamina.

Mr. Sharma further informed that CMS students are making their mark at national and international levels not only in academics but also in sports and other arenas because of the holistic education provided by the school which not only ensures the intellectual development of students but also inculcates sporting and extra-curricular skills in them.
