Lucknow, July 28 : Jaspreet Singh, Class 12 student of City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus I has been awarded the title of ‘Covid Warrior’ for his unparalleled spirit of service and high human values during the second wave of Corona Pandemic. Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that through his spirit of service, this CMS student has not just made the city of Lucknow proud but his commitment to the cause speaks volumes about the material, human, divine education of CMS and the moral values the school is imbibing in its students. Mr Sharma informed that during the second wave of corona pandemic, Jaspreet, joined the ‘Covid-Info Force’ by the NGO Swapna Foundation and helped people by providing verified leads of oxygen cylinders, ventilators, hospital beds, pharmaceuticals, food supplies etc. As the social media head of the organization, he prepared and posted more than 300 verified leads in customized posters on the social media page of the NGO, playing an incomparable role in making the public aware about the safety and security during the corona pandemic. Recognizing his selfless dedication towards service to the community, Swapna Foundation awarded the title of Covid Warrior’ to Jaspreet.

            Founder of CMS and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi praised Jaspreet’s spirit of service and wished him a bright future. He said that CMS students are always at the forefront of serving humanity with their service spirit, knowledge, hard-work and dedication. This indeed is the biggest success for CMS. He said that it is always our endeavour to make every student a responsible world citizen capable of leading the world with a humane and creative global outlook. The Covid affected world of today is in great need of such world citizens, he said.
