Introduction

NTA will be declaring the answer sheet and the result of the NEET 2021 entrance exam. The score, percentile, AIR (All India Rank) along with other details will be provided on the scorecard of NEET provided by NTA. For the top 50 rankers, the marks and percentile for NEET are announced by NTA. For other candidates, the details of the results will be provided to them by their mark sheets. Out of 720 which is total marks, 360 marks are for biology (botany and zoology),  180 marks for physics and 180 marks for chemistry each are provided. Four marks are allotted for correct marks and one mark is reduced for the wrong answer. No marks are allotted for the unattempted question. 

NEET result 2021  : Qualifying criteria of previous year NEET exam

Now, when the results are awaited, students can then check the percentile vs marks from last year’s results. They can also check the qualifying marks for different categories of the previous years. Previous year results were announced by NTA (National Testing Agency) with the results. 

Last year many candidates got the same marks, so a tie-breaking policy was applied for assigning different ranks. This year some changes have been made to the tie-breaking process employed by NTA in case candidates score the same marks.

  • Qualifying criteria – 40th percentile

Conclusion

The correction date for NEET 2021 application form for phase 1 and. Phase 2 has been extended till 14th October 2021. The results and the answer sheets will be soon released after the correction window is closed.
