Additional Chief Secretary, Shri Awanish Awasthi, IAS, to felicitate the CMS toppers today

Lucknow, 22 August : City Montessori School will be organizing a grand ‘Meritorious Students Felicitation Function’ tomorrow on Tuesday, 23rd August from 8.00 am at CMS Gomti Nagar (Extension) auditorium. Additional Chief Secretary, Shri Awanish Awasthi, IAS, will be the Chief Guest on this occasion. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer, CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. He added that the felicitation of the toppers of ISC Board Examinations- 2022 will be the special attraction on this occasion wherein the four students of CMS namely Akash Srivastava, Aditya Vishnu Jhiwaniya, Fahim Ahmad and Simran Singh, who secured All India Rank 1 will be awarded Rs 2 lakhs each for their outstanding achievement. These students secured 99.75% marks in ISC Board Examinations-2022 topping the national merit list. Not only this, another
20 students who have secured 99% and above marks in ISC Board Examinations-2022 will receive cheque of Rs 1 lakh each. The occasion will also see the felicitation of toppers of first inter-campus comparative examinations of class 12 and high achievers of national and international competitions.
Shri Sharma informed that before the felicitation ceremony, thousands of students of class 12 of all CMS campuses will take out a grand ‘Character Building March’, raising awareness for the need of character building in the society. This march of CMS students will commence tomorrow on Tuesday, 23rd August at 7.30 am from maqdoompur police station in Gomtinagar extension and culminate at CMS gomtinagar extension auditorium, where the toppers will be felicitated.
