Will NEET 2020 be postponed due to COVID-19?

NEET Bulletin (New Delhi, Desk): The country has gone into a partial lockdown due to COVID-19. HRD Ministry on March 18 had released an advisory for post-poning the JEE Main 2020 examination.
However, no announcement for the postponement of NEET 2020 or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test which is scheduled for May 3, 2020.

Decision on the schedule of NEET 2020 would be taken by the National Testing Agency or NTA. In light of the current meausres, the examination may not be re-scheduled immediately. With most of the lockdowns in place till March 31 or April 5, the impact on the May 3 examination is likely to be less.

NTA was scheduled to release the NEET 2020 admit card on March 27, 2020 on ntaneet.nic.in. There is no announcement as yet for delay of the admit cards. Any decision, hence, that may be taken by NTA, may be announced by end of March.
