NEET Bulletin (New Delhi, Desk): Looking into the serious situation of Covid’19, students seek to postpone JEE and NEET exams to ensure safety and reduce risks. Social media is fled with tweets by aspirants demanding to postpone the two major entrance exams. To make this thing happen students have started a hashtag #PostponeJEE_NEETinCovid on explaining the reason why the exams should be cancelled.
Earlier the exams were scheduled in the month of July. Now, the JEE Main examination is slated to take place from September 1-6 while NEET will be conducted on September 13. JEE Advanced is scheduled for September 27.
Students are tagging authorities and requesting them to give priority to their health rather than exams. It would be a problematic thing to travel places for entrance exams and moreover in the contaminated zones there is a high risk of health. The government should take the necessary action and announce it.
