PG Medical Admissions Have To Follow MCI Rules, Repeats Telangana High Court

NEET Bulletin (New Delhi, Desk): The decisions and statements of MCI (Medical Council of India) cannot be missed for the post graduate admissions. It is all based on an appeal filed by an MBBS Doctor who protested that despite having the stipulated rural service, her application for a PG seat in Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) was rejected and he was really disappointed.

On the basis of this appeal the university pointed out that there should be a certain procedure and some weightage to be given for candidates who have worked in tribal areas and not rural areas.

The panel while sending away the petition of the person decided to be considered for the second phase of counselling and giving it weightage of marks for one-year rural service.
