NOTICE FROM UP DGME: INTERNSHIP FOR MBBS, BDS STUDENTS AMIDST COVID 19 LOCKDOWN

NEET Bulletin (New Delhi, Desk): Directorate of medical Education and Training Uttar Pradesh has recently circulated a notice in which final year students of MBBS and BDS are informed about their internship commencement in view of Coronavirus epidemic and lockdown subsequently.

The authority has intimated the students that at such a critical time, where entire country is facing challenge due to Coronavirus epidemic and the affect can be seen in all the areas of routine functioning of various departments, healthcare is no exception but has to take special care and thus health staff is needed in all parts of the country. Thus, internship is an important aspect of medical education that can be utilized by the health system to face and manage this challenge of Coronavirus challenge, especially those students who have cleared their final year in 2020 in all medical and dental colleges of the country.

All medical professionals who cleared their final exam in March 2020 may give their joining via mail to their respective medical deans for their internship joining.
