30% Syllabus Reduced by CBSE to Ease the Student’s Burden

While the situation of Covid’19 has been scaring people and increasing the risks, the exams of students were also postponed to avoid major risks.

Now the  Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE ) has taken a decision to reduce the syllabus for the students of classes 9th to 12th by almost 30% which is  a shocking thing.

The authorities were thinking about this for a long time now but finally they have taken a decision after discussing with the stakeholders for the same.

The major and important things have been removed from the syllabus after confirmation with the Human Resource Development (HRD) Ministry. The drastic change has been taken while considering the serious situations prevailing due to COVID’19.

CBSE announced in its official statement that the reduced syllabus will not be a part of the children’s curriculum and teachers should make sure that the reduced topics should only be explained to an extent to the students if needed and are related to the other major topics

Moreover CBSE also mentioned that the reduce in syllabus of classes 10th to 12th have been done to cope up with the study loss that students face due to the pandemic.
