CMS student awarded ‘Chevening Scholarship’ by UK Government

NEET Bulletin (New Delhi, Desk): Rishabh Dheer, a brilliant student of City Montessori School, Station Road Campus has been awarded ‘Chevening Scholarship’ by the UK Government to pursue LL.M programme at the prestigious Cambridge University. Under this scholarship, the Government of England provides full financial support to those students who exhibit impressive leadership skills having excellent academic background. Thus, yet another gem of CMS earned kudos for the school by getting 100 percent scholarship in a famed foreign university, raising the school flag high.

Rishabh accredits his excellent teachers and the academic atmosphere of the school that provided him support and encouraged him to pursue his dreams as per his choice. CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi and CMS President, Prof Geeta Gandhi Kingdon congratulated Rishabh for his amazing success with good wishes for a bright future and expressed their gratitude to the teachers and Principal of the school.

Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that till date this year, 88 CMS students have been offered admission in many of the top universities of USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Germany etc., the majority of them on scholarship. He further stated that CMS makes consistent efforts to expand students’ horizons and provide them opportunities facilitating their study in top higher education institutions, both in India and abroad. CMS is the only SAT and Advanced Placement (AP) exam test centre in Uttar Pradesh, which enables students of U.P. and other neighbouring states to apply for higher studies in the best universities abroad on generous scholarships. Prior to this, students of UP who wished to study abroad had to go to Delhi to find a SAT exam centre.
